The Forum for Expatriate Management

FEM’s next Houston meeting is scheduled for Thursday, July 8 at 4pm with the subject matter chosen from our survey response from the local Global Mobility community to be:

“Localization: The Decisions, Implementation and Challenges.”

We are formatting our meetings to have each subject discussed via panel members. In our commitment to cater to Global Mobility Professionals at all stages of their career, each panelist will represent a different level of involvement in the process, presenting their individual view of the role they have played in the chosen subject matter.

If your company has undergone a localization project, we would like to invite you and your colleagues to speak on this subject. To cover all angles, we are looking for each of the following:

  • Director or VP level, to talk about the strategic decision process
  • Manager or Supervisor level, to talk about implementation of said strategy
  • Consultant or Generalist level, to talk about day to day operation of strategy

This is a great opportunity for you to share your experience amongst your fellow Global Mobility Professionals.

Please contact me via kerrie@totallyexpat.com or 713.467.1006 to discuss. Closing date for speaking opportunities is Friday 11th June 2010.
